JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:

​Our electricians work with high and low voltage electrical systems and several types of piping, wiring, circuitry, and lighting. Due to the high amount of risk pertaining to this job our electricians must be, first and foremost, responsible individuals with the ability to pay great attention to safety precautions.

Our Electricians must have the ability to:

  • Execute Blueprints/Plans to Completion of Electrical Wiring for Well-Functioning Lighting and Other Electrical Systems.
  • Install Electrical Apparatus, Fixtures, and Equipment.
  • Install Safety and Distribution Components.

We are an Open Shop Electrical Contracting Company that is seeking a Knowledgeable/Skilled/Trained Electrician for Commercial and Industrial Electrical Work.

REQUIREMENTS:

EXPERIENCE/TRADE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to Bend Pipe (Heavy-Wall Bending is a Plus)
  • Ability to Pull Wire
  • Ability to Read, Understand, and Execute Electrical Blueprints and Drawings
  • Extensive Knowledge of Electrical Code and Theory
  • Extensive Knowledge of Single Phase and 3 Phase Circuitry
  • Must Own a Personal Set of Hand Tools and have a Demonstrable Ability to use said Tools and other Trade-Specific Equipment accordingly
  • Proven Experience as an Electrician Working with Commercial and/or Industrial Electrical Systems (and/or Proven Electrical Training at a recognized Trade School or College)
  • Thorough Knowledge of Electrical Safety Procedures and Standards
  • Thorough Knowledge of the Legal Guidelines and Regulations of Electrical Installation
  • Troubleshooting Skills in Electrical Systems and Lighting

  • Must Have Reliable Transportation, as we operate all over the Chicagoland Area and there may be substantial travel time to/from the jobsite.
  • Must Speak Fluent English (Although not required, we would love our applicants to be fluent in speaking Spanish in addition to English)
